Bucs to continue tradition of sending players to the next level on signing day

With National Signing Day fast approaching on Feb. 6, the Blinn College football team is preparing to send another outstanding class of student-athletes on to four-year colleges throughout the nation.

In 2011, the Buccaneers sent 23 players on to four-year colleges, and the Buccaneers are expecting another outstanding crop of talent to sign with some of the nation's elite programs once again this year.

From the 2012 class, defensive back Tevin Broussard has already signed with the University of Texas-San Antonio, offensive linemean Tyler Edwards has signed with Baylor University, defensive back Demetrius Woodard has signed with Texas State University, offensive lineman Kyle Bottoms and defensive back Jevon Neal have signed with Old Dominion University, offensive lineman Chance McCormack has signed with Lamar University, wide receiver Vasquez Haynes has signed with the University of Hawaii and kicker Kurt Walker has signed with Texas Tech University.

Several other Buccaneers are currently being recruited and expect make their decision by Signing Day.
