SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Blinn College women's basketball team (4-0) picked up its fourth straight road win as the Buccaneers defeated Palo Alto College, 84-22, on Saturday afternoon.
"It was a good game to give 15 players equal minutes and I was happy that they all scored," said Jeff Jenkins, Blinn head coach.
Blinn leaped out to a 34-8 lead in the first quarter and stayed ahead 45-10 at the break. The Buccaneers outscored Palo Alto 11-4 to lead 56-14 entering the final quarter. Blinn added another 28 points in the fourth to earn the 84-22 win.
Next, the Buccaneers will compete against McLennan Community College in Blinn's home opener on Tuesday, November 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the Kruse Center. The Blinn men's basketball game against McLennan will follow at 7:30 p.m.
